Instructions:

1. Cut out the calendar panel around the edge of the black frame.

2. Carefully cut out the pocket strips and individual pockets along the solid lines indicated by the scissors. The dotted lines serve as guide lines for the box pleats.

3. Press over the seam allowance on the top edge of each pocket and topstitch.

4. Place the box pleats between the individual pockets on the strips. Press the side seams between the individual pockets and join them at the center dotted lines.

5. Press over the seam allowance on the sides and bottom of each pocket strip to enclose the box pleat. Baste to secure them in place.

6. Pin the pocket strips and the individual pockets to the facing according to the numbered squares. Sew down the side.

7. Then sew between each double pocket, using the dotted line as a guide.

8. We recommend using batting between the top and back layers to create more fullness. Sew together.

9. To loop the calendar, attach loops to the top edge. The calendar can now be filled with small gifts or sweets.
