Cover the lamp feet with masking tape
and paint the lower ends with different acrylic paints
. In our example we have the colors Navy blue, Grey Brown and Beige was chosen.
Halve the
Decopatch paper . The
Lampshade with
Decopatch glue place the Paper on the Lampshade , press it with a soft brush and smooth it down. Then brush with Decopatch glue .
The
Cord glue around the upper and lower edge of the lampshade as well as around the upper edge of the lamp stand using
hot melt adhesive. Afterwards you can decorate the lampshade as you wish with diffusers.
Use a plotter, for example the
Silhouette Cameo, to print maritime motifs to your personal taste on a self-adhesive vinyl film. With our lamp we have plotted the writing home port. Then you stick the motives or the lettering on the Lampshade.
If no plotter machine is available, you can also transfer the lettering by hand with a Strich-Ex pen onto the self-adhesive
vinyl film, then cut out the contours with scissors and stick them on
When assembling the lamp, please make sure that you include an
adapter ring . So the oval Lampshade, which is actually for an E27 socket fits perfectly on the lamp stand with an E14 socket.
