This beautiful table decoration with mushrooms is sewn with fabric and then arranged together on the glass plate under the hood.


Mushroom sewing
Download the motif template. The required Fabric cuts are shown here in original size.

Cut out the motifs with approx. 1 cm seam allowance and sew 1 x red dot fabric and 1 x Nettle fabric to form a small round cushion for the mushroom hat. Do not make a small opening.

Sew the Fabric cuts for the mushroom stalks (from Nettle fabric or natural-coloured Cotton fabric) together, leave a small opening here too.

Turn the sewn mushroom cap and stem to the right using the opening, spread well along the seams and then stuff with cotton wool . The openings are closed by hand with needle and thread, then both parts are sewn together.

Pull a narrow red checked ribbon through Lace ribbon and tie a decorative cuff around each mushroom. Sew small heart buttons or decorative buttons with the red and white dotted look for decoration on the mushrooms - they are ready for further decoration.


Arrange table decoration
Lay a small nest on the glass plate made of decorative wicker and moss . Position the fabric mushrooms together with small cones and mini-deco mushrooms to form a natural arrangement. Make sure that the glass cover fits your decoration.

Cut a red heart out of Craft cardboard sheet, using the design template. Stick on a small decorative heart and pierce a corner of the heart. Draw a narrow Organza ribbon through this hole and tie the Ribbon together with check ribbon and a Cotton cord decorated with heart buttons and wooden beads around the glass knob of the bell.
