Create an Autumnal " wind light-" Arrangement on Tree Trunk Slices
Gather the tree stumps as your “ coaster ” and place your “ wind light-” glasses with metal inserts on top. Start by arranging them loosely until the spacing looks balanced. This will give you a harmonious fall decoration that can later be used as a table centerpiece, windowsill decoration, or sideboard arrangement.
Step 1: Build the base on the tree stump
Apply glue in small dots to the tree slice and press small portions of Iceland moss firmly into place. The moss serves as your soft, natural base and hides the glue dots and seams. It’s better to work in stages rather than covering the entire surface at once, so you can control the structure and keep the whole arrangement airy.
Step 2: Add natural accents
Arrange decorative-willow and small pieces of bark around the wind light-glass and secure them with a little glue. Make sure to create a small “frame” around the glass so that the wind light appears visually embedded.
Step 3: Incorporate scatter decoration as autumn highlights
Scatter scatter decoration sparingly among the moss and bark. Purposefully place individual pieces toward the front or to the sides instead of scattering everything evenly. This makes the decoration look more natural and lets the fall motifs stand out better without overloading the wind light .
Step 4: Prepare the Flowers and Arrange Them in the Vase
Trim the flower stems to the appropriate length using the side cutters. Then, tie a ribbon around the vase as desired. The purpose: The ribbon ties the look together and provides a calm, decorative finishing touch—especially beautiful as a contrast to moss and wood.
Step 5: Arrange the Flowers
Place the trimmed flowers in the vase. Combine a striking bloom as an eye-catcher with green foliage for volume. This creates an autumnal focal point that complements the wind light-arrangement without stealing the show.
Step 6: Place tea lights and decorate safely
Place the tea lights in the metal inserts of the wind light-glasses. Make sure that moss, Deko-willow and scatter decoration do not extend near the flame, so that your fall decor remains not only beautiful but also suitable for everyday use.
Step 7: Finishing Touches for a Harmonious Fall Display
Check the arrangement from different angles. If needed, add small pieces of moss to fill in gaps, or slightly reposition a wind light until the proportions are just right. With this combination of wind light-glass, tree slice, and natural materials , your table decor will look warm and seasonal.
Now it’s your turn! If you’d like to customize your tree-slice lanterns further, you’ll find matching natural decorations, scatter decoration , and ribbons in the online shop to tailor your fall arrangement exactly to your style.
