Great Sabbiarelli Sand-it for Fun Midi Kit "Crazy Pets " set with 6 refillable pens (colored sand) in red, yellow, light green, light blue, black, and white, 5 printed and pre-cut adhesive sheets, 2 scrapers, and 2 small paper trays. The pre-glued drawings measure approximately 14 x 21 cm. A set with various designs to color with sand. Includes instructions and examples of use with a QR code for video tutorials.

The Sabbiarelli are made from recycled material. When large blocks of white marble are quarried in Carrara, small pieces break off that are unusable for traditional processing. These scraps are collected, ground, colored with water-based pigments, and filled into the Sabbiarelli dispensing pens. When combined with the special adhesive sheets—on which the designs are printed and cut out —they create glittering marble sand pictures. Special non-toxic, water-based pigments are used to color the sand. Thanks to the crystalline, exceptionally radiant nature of white Carrara marble, these pigments do not obscure the marble’s natural luster.

Here’s how it’s done:

Using the scrapers included in the set, gradually peel the film away from the pre-glued and pre-cut motifs. Place the motif in the paper tray and sprinkle the exposed motifs with colored sand. Now spread it out a little with your fingers and press it down. Put any leftover sand back in the container. Then peel off the next sheet of foil and sprinkle it with sand. Piece by piece, a wonderful image with a shimmering effect takes shape.

A creative play set for artists of all ages and a great gift idea.
