The paint offers excellent coverage and dries to a smooth, glossy finish . The various colors can be combined beautifully and diluted as desired using the Kreul Glass & Porcelain “Paint Thinner.” This allows you to create completely individual watercolor effects and unique pieces.
This allows you to create beautiful and long-lasting effects on heat-resistant items made of glass, porcelain, ceramic, metal, or terracotta . The glass and porcelain paint is applied with a hair brush of any thickness. Graphite paper works very well for transferring designs .
To ensure your artwork lasts, the paint must be fired at approximately 160 °C for about 90 minutes after it has dried, which takes about 4 hours. It is important to place the item in a cold oven! The firing time does not begin until the oven reaches the required temperature. Afterward, the item must cool down in the oven so that the firing process is completed properly and the paint becomes waterproof, dishwasher-safe, and saliva-resistant .
