With KREUL Glass &Porcelain "Classic-Metallic" paints, which are easy to work with, you can create beautiful metallic effects on heat-resistant and smooth surfaces.
The paint provides excellent coverage and dries to a unique metallic sheen. With KREUL Glass & Porcelain “Paint Thinner,” you can dilute the various colors as desired to achieve custom watercolor effects. The selected shades can be combined beautifully, allowing your imagination to run wild.
This allows you to create beautiful and long-lasting effects on glass, porcelain, ceramics, metal, or terracotta . The glass and porcelain paint is applied with a hair brush of any thickness. Graphite paper works very well for transferring designs . For freehand drawings, a pencil is recommended . Keep in mind that the lines should not be painted over so that they can be easily removed after firing.
KREUL Glass & Porcelain ensures long-lasting results. To achieve this, the paint must be fired at approximately 160 °C after a drying time of about 4 hours. To do this, place the object in a cold oven and, once the required temperature is reached, allow it to fire for 90 minutes . To complete the firing process correctly, the item must cool down inside the oven. Only then will the paint be waterproof, dishwasher-safe, and saliva-resistant.
Important! Surfaces that come into contact with food must not be painted, as the paint is not food-safe. The rims or interior surfaces of glasses and cups, eating and serving areas, as well as the cutting edges of plates should be left unpainted.
As long as the paint hasn’t been fired, the design can be easily removed with water. This allows you to create temporary designs with a metallic effect on many plastics, mirrors, and acrylic glass.
